Coroners

Where the death is uncertain a coroners post-mortem may be required and you will be informed if this decision has been made. This is a legal requirement. The coroners officer will explain to you the reasons for a post-mortem.

If you have a sudden death at home which is referred to the coroner, the coroner have a contract with a funeral director just to transfer your loved one to the local hospital, but that is where their involvement ends. Just call us & inform us of your sad loss & we can assist from that point on.

You will not be able to register the death until the coroner has informed you to do so. if you have any concerns or questions regarding this then please contact us.

Thank you again for yesterday. My family were very grateful for the way you all dealt with everything and we were very pleased with how smoothly everything ran yesterday.I felt it was a very fitting send off for my mum and we appreciated everything Lucking & Sons did for us.

Thank you both so much for your expert care and dedication shown to us, on our very sad loss. Everything went so well and just what my Mother wanted and wished for. I know see would have been so proud. Thank You So Much.

Many Thanks for all you did at Mum's funeral in such dreadful weather. Please pass on my thanks to all your colleagues who also did so much to make the Occassion run so smoothly. I really appreciate your help and kindness in making mum's last journey so trouble free.
